1. General Introduction

 

Detachable Cable Joints are widely used in packaged substations, box-type Ring Main Units, GIS and Cable Distribution Boxes and so on. They have features of small volume, light weight, safety, and convenient for combination; flexible disassembly, fully sealed, fully insulated, fully protected, anti-flooded, anti-contamination. The surface is covered by semi-conductive shield. Under the circumstance of normal working condition or good grounding it can prevent the personal injury and equipment damage, even touch the surface directly. So it greatly improved the safety and reliability.

 

The cable joint is made by super silicone rubber. This kind of material has good insulation, anti-corona and dielectric performance. The material can enhance the adaptation ability of cable accessories to fluctuation of electric system so as to match with the electrical performance of cable. The material has flame-retardant, self-extinguishing and good heat resistance properties. When there are some emergencies with cable accessories, this material can reduce the consequences of accident to a maximum extent. It can also prevent the spread of accident and improve reliable degree of working electric system. It can work in special occasions or serious contamination environment.

 

Detachable cable joints were designed according to standards DIN47636, meeting with the specification of IEC60502:2, and tested in line with IEC60502:4 and GB/T12706.4-2002. All of above will guarantee the product quality for users.
